we be sushi - the other one
nb: this time we ate at the 538 valencia st location.
motivation: mature dinner with ex rr to catch up on life, since we're no longer sleeping together and torturing each other with...difficult emotions. he's got a new job, i have no job. he's spending a lot of time working with his non-profit passion, the bike kitchen. i'm spending a lot of time working with my non-profit passion, the homeless children's network. we talked about upcoming events, our friends' propensity for poor planning of said events, and who we're having sex with now. or at least messing around with. or potentially discussing connecting with. anyway.
the quality at we be is dependably good enough, with some nice slices of hamachi and moist unagi and an assortment of tasty rolls. this isn't the best place in the city but for under $20 you can stuff yourself and enjoy the lingering flavors in your mouth. they'll give you a miso soup on the house, and if you want to save even more money, have some extra edamame. or if you're waiting for a while because your date/ex-date is late, have a large sapporo and relax. don't worry about it going straight to your head because you just got out of yoga class. you probably won't almost say something inappropriate later about how certain people have trouble with follow-through. and communication. and how they still smell good. and you really like hugging them. anyway.
so, um, flirtability. right. um. so, the two people at the table behind me were talking about how the woman could get a job at the man's company:
him: how good are you at blow jobs?
her: very good.
him: we'll need to evaluate your skills before the interview, perhaps in the bathroom here.
her: the bathroom!?!
conclusion - there's potential at we be sushi but you should probably wash your hands as you exit the lavatory. and keep an eye out for the recently single.
itadakimasu!
